Tessa's Marathon

I still really wish that it would have worked out for me to run this race with Tessa. But it was so awesome that I got to be her cheering squad and follow her around. I found her around mile 22 I think and then I ran with her for a couple miles. That was really cool. She did that with me on my first marathon and it helped me to not focus on the pain of running. I was able to take a video of her while running and send it to the family. They were all so worried that she might blow her knees out or something or that she would struggle a ton because she had pneumonia during her training and she missed some really important big runs. But she finished without stopping and that's what she set out to do and I hope that this little journey she took will leave her with many great memories and that she was able to release some of her emotional weight she has been carrying.
