This has been such a FUN week! And it's been so super busy. Savanna and Camryn and my mom stayed at my house while the other slept at Tessa's. Seriously I just want to adopt Deidra's kids. I LOVE them so much and they are such good, awesome kids. Really polite and sweet with my kids and ready to help me with anything I ask of them. I never really wanted to have boys after I started having girls but after a week with Christian and Camryn I really want some of my own.

One day we went to seven peaks and I actually got to ride some of the slides there because my mom and everyone was so great about playing with my kids and watching them for me. It can be really hard for me to let others watch my kids while I do something for myself, I hate to be the one who is always poning my kids off on someone. They are mine and my responsibility. And I feel like when you have kids you need to make sacrafices and most of the time put myself on the back burner. But it's really nice when every once in a while I give in and let others help.

One day we had filled a bunch of water balloons and hid waiting for Deidra, Tessa, Ian and Christian to come over... we all had fun doing that except the ones who got hit! We also went up to Bridal Veil Falls twice. Once to just see the falls and once for the big boys to long board down the canyon. I was so happy when one day we found a garage sale (first one I went to all summer) and I found such awesome crap! For seven buck I got 3 head bands for the girls, new curtains for Lexi's room, the book Sleeping Beauty, and an adult sized snow white costume for me! This lady had so much stuff and is having her 'actual' sale this Saturday and I'm totally going back!
We went to Lagoon one day and my kids have never been there and they thought it was Disneyland! I wasn't going to go because of the cost of it all but my mom was so sweet to offer to pay for TJ and I to get in. TJ was the best sport because he flew in that morning from Chicago and drove straight to Lagoon and met us there. It was such a GREAT day! My kids have never been so well behaved and never once was I stressed or did I yell. There were no lines for the rids and the girls were in heaven running from ride to ride. Lexi was a angel and never had a fit or melt down and was happy all day even though there were no naps and never really lunch or dinner just snacks here and there.
Me and TJ were able to go on some rides alone and I even went on the sky coaster with Tessa and Camryn. Love that ride, such a rush. We didn't leave that night until almost 9pm. It was awesome and I absolutly want to go back next summer!
I got to run one day with Deidra and Justin which was fun and Deidra helped me to get out of the "I hate running" rut I was in. I ran 15 miles (extremely slow) with Becky on Saturday and I think now I'm starting to like it again. I do have the Timpanogas half to run this Saturday so I hope by then I will get stoked and ready to give it my all.
Everyone got the flu bug while they were here (starting from me from when I had it last week).
Deidra, Justin, Brightyn, Ian, Tessa, and my mom got it and I'm sure the others will soon enough. I feel bad. I'm sad they had to leave because I know my nieces and nephews will grow so much before I see them again.

Today was a hard, sad day at church. It was the last Sunday before they split the ward and I will be released from 1st Councelor in the Relief Society. I have been in there 3 years and have really come to love my calling. I am also really afraid of change and there are going to be new callings and a lot of change. I really loved my Relief Society President Jolene Benson. I have learned so much from her and I will really miss working with her.

This is SOOO Justin! Being goofy as always.

Visit from the Bradshaws and Mom

This week my sister Deidra and her family are in town. Their son Christian (who is amazingly 18 already!!) came to BYU for a baseball camp for the week. It's been great to hang with my sisters and my mom (who came to join the fun). My girls are in love with Sadie and Savanna and they even love the boys. I CAN'T believe that Deidra's kids are already so old. I remember the days they were born and being a cool and fun aunt making videos of them dancing around the house. They are now teenagers and into boys and girls and no longer little kids anymore. For crying out loud Christian graduates this year and will be going on a mission soon!! It seriously makes me so sad. Where has the time gone? And why is it once you get married and have kids of your own you stop being the fun aunt.
It happens to EVERYONE.

TJ is in Chicago right now for work and I wish he could be here to hang out with all of us.
However I am really grateful that they are here while TJ is out of town so I don't go crazy this week being alone without my hubby.

Chloe and Callie

We have the ideal backyard neighbors.
Tallie is BF with Elena
and recently Chloe has been loving playing with Elena's little sister Callie.
All 4 play together and there is a friend for everyone.
I'm glad that Callie has gotten older and is a little girl that Chloe can be friends with instead of the crying toddler that just followed everyone around.
Makes me happy.

The other day Chloe begged for me to take their picture. I love how she wrapped her arms around her little friend. You can tell she is so happy to have a BF of her own.

Camping at Crystal Hot Springs

So we must be crazy because two weekends in a row we went camping. I can say that I have gotten it out of my system and won't be ready to go until next summer. TJ's sister Jamie and her family invited us to camp with them at Crystal Hot Springs up in Brigham City. Neither of us had ever been there before so we weren't sure what to expect. It was a campground around some natural hot springs and also a regular pool. Sounded really fun for the kids.
It was not quite what we hoped for.
It was probably the most white trash campsite I have ever seen. It was almost like going to a parking lot and one spot was yours and on both sides right on top of you were your neighbors. We were sandwiched between the mexican fiesta reunion and the punk kids playing crazy rock music. We ended up setting up our tent next to Jamie's tent in their spot. We had to share the fire pit with our neighbors!! How lame is that? So the first night,,, no fire for us.
(oh and for the whole 2 hour car ride up I had the WORST stomach ache).
Getting to bed that night was hard. It was so noisy. I am really surprised how inconsiderate people can be in a campsite! There was loud music and yelling and we were right by the train like as close as you could get. The train came by like every hour it seemed like and honked it horn or whatever it is all through the night. I don't think I fell asleep until after 3 and I didn't really sleep because I was freezing.
The next day we went to the hot springs and the kids had so much fun. We swam all day! The pools were so old and crumbly and gross and the people this place attracted were fun to watch/super trashy. A great place to people watch.

The girls love to play in the tent and go crazy.

We painted rocks (Chloe had a tummy ache)

We went out to eat one night which was kind of nice to get away from the campsite.

And so randomly some man brought his camel. Who has a camel?? The girls were amazed and kept going over to pet and stare at it.

Gordon sent the kids on a wild goose hunt and they were just eating it up. It was hilarious because his instructions made absolutely no sense but the girls were so serious.

All in all the trip was fun and I love hanging out with Jamie and Gordon. Besides the nasty porta potties that were maxed out to the brim and the lack of privacy it just goes to show that you can have fun no matter where you are as long as you enjoy the company you are with.
The last night I went to the bathrooms and didn't really want to turn on my flashlight because I didn't want to see what was around me and I couldn't see that the lid to the toilet was closed and I peed all over the lid! And right after that Jamie peed her pants because she sneezed.
You can laugh in any situation.
