Scout camp week

I totally dread the week that Tj goes out of town for scout camp. Its usually a long hard lonely week. Especially since Tessa is still dealing with lice and I'm hesitant to hang out with them. BUT it's been a very nice week and has gone by kinda fast. On Monday it was rainy so we did grocery shopping, and I have learned that if you buy very crappy food you can save a lot of money week to week. Thats a story for another day. The kids are super into perler beads so they have been making things for hours a day. They played outside all night with neighbors. Tuesday we went to Seven Peaks and after I took the girls to play at the Wilkins and Kasen took a nap and I actually had an hour of quiet me time! Mona came over for a haircut and then I went to pick up the girls and ended up staying and talking with Kristie for a while. I brought back her girls for a late night. Wednesday we went to the Resevoir. Today Tallie had an eye appointment and then we had lunch at the park. We went to Pioneer Village. We had FHE tonight and the girls dressed up as pioneers and I read them real pioneer stories. They then made their own butter out of heavy cream and ate it on home made bread. Speaking of this home made bread...my RS president Ali Taggart came over one night and gave me this warm bread. It was seriously such a nice sweet surprise. She was very inspired to bring that loaf over. Just to know she was thinking of me and for her thanking me for my efforts. It meant a lot.
Anyways..I know we hit up the library one day and tm we are running the temple to temple 5K and then going to the Spanish Fork parade. In the evening we are taking up pizzas to the boys and their families at scout camp. AND THEN, TJ comes home!!! But he will have to unpack and clean which will take all day so it won't really be like he is back.

I tired to get Chloe to part with some of her stuffed animals. I got one...

Provo Canyon

I love going to this park and having picnics and relaxing and playing games like jackpot and floating boats or shoes. The water is FREEZING but somehow the kids don't feel it. I can only manage a few minutes at a time.

Arizona Lee family reunion

I LOVE this family. I love spending time with them and laughing and crying with them. I am deeply saddened by the news that was shared and the trial and addictions that some of these great people are going through. I pray that they can all make it out on the right side. It was so great to go to the temple with many of these people and do baptisms for family members each family had researched over the past year. Our goal for this year is to finish their work. TJ and I figured thats like 500 hours at the temple. We better get cracking. We spent most our time swimming  and eating and playing games. The kids got brave and were jumping off all the rocks. Some from pretty high up. I love how we get to have our reunions at our own private resort.

Random

I literally have not cleaned off the table since before school got out. Thats like over a month of little tiny legos EVERYWHERE! It has been nice that they play with legos, and I'm not kidding, all day everyday! It has been so nice to have a GO TO for whenever the kids are bored. However sometimes I want to throw them all away because they are all over the floor and they for sure cause melt downs and fist fights.

I have an addiction to head wraps...can you tell??
(or maybe its an addiction to not washing/doing my hair?)

Poor Tessa and her girls for they have lice and I am SO PARANOID about getting it. I went over one day to help comb all the eggs out of her hair...so gross. And for the past two days I have been WASHING everything! All bedding, blankets, throws, rugs, clothes, towels, pillows, the washer has been going NON stop. I vacum like a mad woman and tied all the kids stuffed animals and pillows into garbage bags and we won't open them for 3 days. I check the kids and my hair like 500 times a day. Getting lice is like a nightmare and I have been treating it like we have it and driving myself crazy and the silly thing is...we do not have lice. We are lice free.
WHEW!!!
But we will not be playing with Tessa for awhile...
