My little Chloe actually really likes playing the piano. She had her first recital and was nervous but excited and she did so well! She was pretty proud she had her song memorized. She even asked if she could take lessons during the summer. OF COURSE Chloe yes you can!

Every now and then I get the chance to go help out and watch Beckys twins. They are getting so big and its fun to play with them. It sure is a good baby fix for me tho :)

The girls have been dying to have pink hair for multiple summers so this year I said okay to the cotton candy pink and it was so cute! I wish that I had put more and yet glad that I didn't since the pink faded and left the super blonde hair which has now turned so green from swimming all summer.

On the last day of school we always fill up tons of water balloons and hide along the street so we can pelt the girls as they ride their bikes home from school. Its sad that neighbors have moved so the crowd isn't as big and since the girls were getting over strep they weren't feeling so hot so also not as fun this year. Always next year.

Fathers and sons campout

Kasen couldn't have been more excited to go to "scout camp" with dad for his first time! He talked about it everyday and packed all day and made sure he had his headlamp! He waved to me with all smiles saying goodbye that he would see me later, that he loved me and that he was off to scout camp. He had such a blast and put his headlamp on before he could get out of the truck. He searched for the perfect spot to set up camp and had everyone just gushing over how cute he is. I never want him to grow up!!

The girls were so sad they couldn't go camping with them so we went out to eat which is never really as fun but better than staying at home.

Kindergarten graduation!

Lexi is so cute and her graduation was so so cute! She had an amazing teacher this year and some good friends in her class. She mostly enjoyed going to school but would often complain that it took up most her day (its only 2.5 hrs long) and that she hardly had any time to play with me or to just play in general. And she would always complain they weren't doing enough art in class and that they always did the same thing and that it was boring. Hopefully thats just because she is a smarty pants. She did so well in spanish and is not afraid to ask questions or talk to her teacher as much as she can in spanish. Going to first grade is a big step and I don't think either one of us is ready to be apart that long.
Her cutest friend tho is a boy names Carson and he just loves Lexi and they play back and forth at each others houses and I hope they can continue to be good friends throughout the coming years.

Kayaks

Tjs parents gave us money for Christmas. And we have been hanging onto that money not sure what to use it for. I was set on food storage. But then TJ called me from Costco one day saying he had an idea. He wanted to buy the family kayaks so we could do and go to some fun places as a family. Well this is our first time taking them out to the resevoir and the kids love them. TJ and I hope to kayak down the provo river soon. I am wishing now tho that we would have bought some paddle boards too.

I love that Lexi and Brightyn are friends and I have loved that they were in the same Kindergarten class. I hope and pray they will be together in 1st grade as well.

Now that I no longer have a kindergartner and have the early out schedule I will so miss our park and lunch days.

I'm licensed again!!!

I'm looking back at this picture and can't actually believe that I had to RETAKE MY STATE BOARDS!! This just doesn't happen. There is prob not another hair dresser that was a dumb as I and let their license expire to the point of taking all the tests again. AND then ACTUALLY taking all of the tests again. I am so incredibly thankful that that time in my life is over!! But I am so IMPRESSED with my self that thru all the tears and anger and bitterness and failing that I kept pushing on determined to get it all back. Even more so when it was during a time when I hated doing hair and wanting to give it up all together. But I fought for it and now it will still be my choice as to what happens with me and hair. MY CHOICE. Not DOPLS choice.
I am a bad A

My dear sweet friend brought over this lost dog and convinced us to keep it overnight until animal control could come and get her...of course Chloe and "Misty" bonded right away and she was heartbroken to have to let this dog go. It was then that we knew the time was really coming that we needed to get our own dog. No more excuses. So in a way I guess I'm thanking my friend for the inconvienience she brought into my life.
Mothers Day was great! The kids and TJ woke up and made me breakfast in bed and the kids made me so many sweet crafts from school and on their own. I truly love being a mom and seriously have the best most amazing kids!!
Chloe had her first track and field day this year and it was so fun to go and watch her run her little heart out!
I moved all of my hair stuff into the pantry because I was so tired of it being up so high and having to get on a chair to get anything. But then I ran into the problem of where to put the food! I am working on an open shelving pantry and when I'm done I'll put a picture in.

The girls had a lot of fun playing soccer this year. They both improved so much!
This is Lexi on her water day in kindergarten. I couldn't be there to help but I have some great friends who sent me some pictures so I could see the fun.
Kasen is FINALLY potty trained!! The girls one day told him that if he put on underwear and kept it on all day and if he had it on when they got home from school then I would buy him a new paw patrol toy. Surprisingly he did which is amazing because putting on the darn underwear has been the biggest hurdle. But once he did he was a pro and by the next day he was going potty without even telling me all on his own. And he is so cute in those little undies. And that day I sold all of my diapers, even the bed time ones and we have never looked back. I can't believe I am out of that stage in my life. Very bittersweet.

Here is Tallie in her 4th grade program. She was so embarrassed when I came up to her and took her picture. Totally the reason why I did it.

Turning 33

Tallie came home from school one day and told me she had the best birthday gift for me. The gift was that I would get to spend my birthday at the track and field watching her run! She was so excited and you know what it was a great start to my day! I love watching her push herself and trying new things and learning that she can do hard things. She did so great! The car on the other hand did not do so great and Tj had to come to the rescue to get it rolling again. Since he works about 30 minutes away, Kasen and I went on a nearby trail by a creek and found sticks and threw rocks in the water. He was in heaven and it turned out to be a good thing. Plus I got to see TJ in the middle of the day. Tj got me a pair of Birkenstocks that I have been wanting for a long time. Funny how trends come and go. I wore these same shoes when I was Tallies age and here I am wearing them again. This time with no socks tho. However socks with sandals is totally a thing right now for the younger generations. All I wanted to do for my birthday was put on a pair of waders and stand in the provo river and fish. Pretending like I was in the movie which now I can't remember the name of. Brad Pitt was in it...Anyways the water was running really high so we thought to be safe we shouldn't. Instead we went up the canyon and ate the yearly b day cupcakes with all of my favorite people.
A very wonderful day!
