Random

Kasen is addicted to me right now. Every where I go he goes. He flips out if I am not in his view. He won't stay with anyone, won't go to Sunbeams, and follows me all around the house. He is my side kick and I love it. It is exhausting thats for sure but its a pretty special role I play in his life. I am the first person he thinks of when he wakes up, the person he wants when he is hungry, happy, sad, hurt, mad and the last person he thinks of when he closes his eyes at night. I am his ultimate best friend  and I love how much he loves me.

Tallie and I went on a date to a womens BYU basketball game one Saturday. It was really fun. She is so into basketball right now. She loves to play and has made so much improvement in her games lately. I can tell the whole game is starting to really click. She got free tickets from school and has been wanting to go to a game for a while. I love that she wanted me to be the one to take her. She finally I think is doing a little better at school. We have talked a lot about being a leader and choosing happiness and being in charge of your life. Being brave and putting your self out there. We have all shed a lot of tears so far this year. 4th grade is the start of it all. A hard year. After she was sick for so long and missing 4 days of school she kept crying every morning saying she was too dizzy to go to school. But I knew for sure that she was feeling better. Once I got to the bottom of it I realized she was so petrified to go back to school. To have to get back into the swing of things with friends and math and recess. That morning we we both cried. I cried to TJ and I think he really felt for once how the weather and this time of year can have such an affect. He could see the blues that both Tallie and I have and he was genuinely concerned.

We tried for one day to get Kasen potty trained. Well actually I gave the job to Lexi. She was so great and super sweet about it. And Kasen was more willing to listen to her than me. Best part was is that Lexi doesn't love to read (even though she is pretty good at reading) and Kasen doesn't like to sit on the potty but they both would do it for each other. Lexi sat and read book after book to Kasen for a long time. Too bad the next day I couldn't even convince Kasen to put on underwear at all.

So no, we are still not potty trained.
