Quick trip to St George

So we had a really rough week a couple of weeks ago. It involved a lot of sick people, a lot of drama at school, a lot of snow and no sun. Tallie was crying, I was crying and TJ was trying to fix it. So he decided last minute we should go to the La Verkin house and get some sun and warmer temps. I was all about that. We had a good drive down. Lexi is so funny when she sleeps in the car.
Bob and Mona were down there as well so that was fun. We played lots of games, ate good food, Grandpa paid the kids to pick up all the nuts on the ground from the trees. He didn't realize he should have paid less per nut. The kids each collected bowl after bowl. They had fun doing it too. The best part was wearing short sleeve shirts! We played at the park, drove to Dixie rock and hiked around (the kids love doing that), we took Subway to a different park, ate Swigg cookies, went to Aunt Donna and Uncle Bills and chased the chickens and their babies, Donna gave me fresh eggs, Tj took the kids on the 4-wheeler, and they played the slot machine in the house. We picked up Papa Murphys pizzas and redbox movies and headed back to the house. We played games, talked all night and slept in and then wen to the park again in the morning before we packed up and drove home. It was short lived but oh so fun and I hope my kids remember the little trips like these! And I just love Bob and Mona for totally buying everything and preparing all meals and for making the trip so fun to be with grandma and grandpa!
