I had a really hard time with this one. Weeks leading up to Lexi's birthday I was such a wreck. A ball of emotions. It literally hurts to see this little girl grow up. It probley has something to do with the fact she is my baby girl. And that I love her age right now. And once she is out of this stage, that's its. No more little 5 year old girls running around. I'm sad she is out of the dress up stage and all the little tutu princess stuff. But I am so thankful she is still so innocent. TJ and I were trying to describe her the other day and it was hard to nail it on the head. She is so mature and smart yet so oblivious and quirky and so young at heart. She is so innocent and lives in her own little bubble. She still loves to play alone in her room and entertain her self. She still loves her cuddle time with me and has with drawls if theres been too many hours missed in between hugs. She loves games and puzzles and coloring and playing legos and ever after high dolls and characters. She is so sweet and sensitive and has such a hard time with anyone raising their voice at her. She is so tender hearted and cries so easily if her sisters are not being kind to her. She loves friends and crafts and all she wanted for her birthday was a makeup kit because she didn't get one for Christmas. After kindergarten got out for the day I picked her up and checked out Tallie and Chloe from school so we could go out to lunch. Tallie wanted to go back to school because she wanted to finish writing her story she was working on. I tried to get her to come play with the rest of us but she is so studious. Well I took the rest of the crew to Jump on It. Tallie and Chloe were starting Ski lessons that day as well which I felt so bad about them having to start on Lexi's birthday but there was nothing I could do. So TJ was awesome and came home early to take the girls up to Sundance so I could stay home with Lexi and play but she wanted to go spend time with Tj and have hot chocolate in the lodge so she went. Once lessons were over we all went to eat dinner at Cracker Barrel (Lexi's choice).
For Lexi's party she invited all her friends and we had the balloon guy from Pizza Pie Cafe come to our house. He is amazing and so nice and the kids really loved him. Lexi also wanted a pinata and to watch a movie. I also found a big mirror on the yard sale page to go above her dresser in her room.
I sure love this girl and her daintiness and her crazy laugh with her eyes popping out!
Happy Birthday Lexi Lou-Who!
