Yesterday the kids really wanted to have a lemonade stand.

They drug their table outside and set up shop.

(not really lemonade just a fruit drink mix from food storage).

The girls went to all the houses on the street knocking trying to get a sale.

I didn't get a picture because there was an accident and Tallie spilled the pitcher as she was trying to pour a glass...it was so sad because she got so embarrassed and ran inside and cried on her bed. She felt so bad that she had ruined the lemonade stand.

She was going to stay on her bed, alone.

After some convincing and a soaked pillow she came back outside.

And just in time because Maili the neighbor girl wanted attention too and set up a rock stand selling rocks.

The girls took the money they made from the lemonade and spent it on rocks.

So I got out some paint and had them paint their rocks to make it a cooler deal.

It's the 4th of July weekend and I'm excited because TJ has Saturday and Monday off to celebrate with us. He comes back from Scout camp in the morning and I hope we can go on a cool hike to the hot pots or to the grotto. Maybe I can get a run in since I haven't been able to all week. I registered for the Timpanogas half marathon on July 30 and I got Becky to do it with me. After this race it's time to get serious and get ready for the full marathon in September!

I'm excited!!
