Kasen turned 4!! He is so fun and sweet and I just want to kiss on him all day! He is obsessed with Batman everything right now and PawPatrol. He was so excited his birthday was on Halloween because he thought all of the festivities and parties going on were all for him. It was a treat to have Grandma DePriest in town visiting for his day too! We had a ward halloween party that weekend too and trick or treating and carving pumpkins so it was a BIG party for my little boy.
I loved my kids costumes this year! So fun and creative. Love it when they don't want to follow a crowd. Chloe even had her piano recital in her troll costume. I love dressing up and always want to have multiple costume changes!! I know I'm like a crazy 5 year old. And they always come to me so last minute. This year it was a Native American girl and also a crab and TJ my fisherman. That costume I thought up and whipped up and sewed in literally 10 min.
All summer long Tallie wanted to go to the Heritage Park. We never did make it so when the kids had a day off school we took the trip up there. It was such a great day!! Lots of learning and fun and trick or treating too. They held snakes, panned for gold, got candy, carriage rides, walked thru all the old buildings and school house. Made crafts and more. It was a long day but everyone was happy the whole time and no one really wanted to leave. Well worth the money and we will be going back!
My friend Nicole is so great and so just like me! I didn't know I could meet someone who may have a bigger thrift shopping problem than me. But I did and her name is Nicole and I love her! She made me go to Springvilles new grand opening of DI right when it opened! The line to get in was absurd and it was jam packed but I found some goodies and had so much fun even though my husband thinks I'm CRAZY!
Fall in Utah this year was AWESOME! The weather was so great and nice! We played outside a lot and went on many hikes. I am so lucky to have my sister close by to be able to hang out with
