For Chloe's 9th birthday she wanted to have all her friends over for a pet vet party. She had it all planned out where once the kids arrived they could go adopt one of the stuffed dogs and then they would wait their turn to visit the vet (Chloe) who had her doctors office all set up in her room. They had to sign in with the secretary (Tallie). Then they all got crafty and made name tags and collars for their pups. Cake and ice cream and and obstacle course ending with a slip n slide to end the party. I got my own crafty ness on and made a really cool dog cake that took me forever. I won't be doing that again (well until someone asks me, prob won't be offering tho).I sure love my spunky, sassy, small Chlo-bug!
School started for the girls and Kasen wasn't so thrilled on the first day. He did say that he wouldn't be sad cause now he didn't have to share his stuff! I worried that Lexi would have a hard time adjusting to all day school and being away from me and home for so long but she has done really well. She likes to come straight home and love on her dog and then lock herself in her room for some alone time where she can play. She needs plenty of play time to be happy. About once every couple weeks though she says she needs to stay home because she doesn't feel well but she is usually fine but I let her stay because really I want her to and Kasen misses her too. He went through a cute phase when we would drop the kids off at school he would cry and yell out the window for Lexi. Broke my heart really. She is a really good sister and friend to him. Chloe and Tallie have been doing great and they have both made some good friends and seem to be happy and tell me all is well. Both are doing great grades wise and hate to miss school. Tallie is always excited to tell me about what she learned that day. She is one smart cookie.
Tallie turned the big 11 and she is amazing! She is so sweet and responsible, helpful and I can really count on her! We have started letting her babysit the other kids, even at night now and she does so great! She does the dishes, cleans tons of things, plays game and laundry sometimes and is so great with the dog too. Very mature and its neat to watch her grow! She wanted to have all her friends over for an outdoor movie night and games. Her game of choice was telestrations.
Fall is so fun with my littles! They are so cute together and its my favorite time to get some really fun pictures.
