Last weekend we went down to St. George to run our first race for the runners series. It was nice to finally run with TJ for the first time ever! It was also such a fun little getaway with the kids and Tessa and her girls. The weather was so nice. We swam, hiked and played at the sand dunes. The girls got to try out their camelbacks for the first time and they loved it and so did we. We didn't have to carry all their water bottles and stop every five minutes to get them drinks. They drank and hiked at the same time! We hiked to the lava caves. We took flash lights and the kids thought it was so cool to explore around in the dark. Chloe was a bit scared and cried a couple times and Kasen was not a huge fan and kept saying he wanted out. We go back in a few weeks for our half and that will hopefully be just as fun.
