I just can't get over how quickly my baby girl is growing up. One of my all time favorite things to do with Lexi is lay in bed with her and have her tickle my face and listen to her sing me her favorite primary songs. She is so sweet and so independent and is just fine to stay indoors if the weather is too hot or too cold for her liking even if everyone is outside. She loves hugs and often swears her legs are broken or just too tired to walk anywhere. She is smart and loves school and loves to be right in the thick of learning something new. She loves books and stuffed animals and legos. She is my deep thinker and is always full of insight and questions. She loves her older sisters and enjoys when they have school off but is also happy to have them go back so she can have her one on one with mom again. She loves vanilla yogurt and night lights and trying new things and the smell of laundry.
I love you Lexi Lou and can't believe you are now 5!!
Since we were going to be in Hawaii for her birthday (I know I felt like the worst parent ever!) we had a party before we left. We decorated and treated her like it was her birthday all day. We had cinnamon rolls for breakfast, opened presents, which included a "Frozen" puzzle, a board game, and a ribbon wand. We had an ice cream cake with Olaf on top. We went bowling and played games.
