Thanksgiving in Arizona

Kinda last minute our plans for Thanksgiving changed and instead of staying here and going to TJ's parents we all packed our crap and headed to stay at the Richardson Resort. It was so nice. The weather, the company, the HOUSE. I don't know if I can ever really digest that house. Anyways, we had tons of yummy food and pies, swimming, running in the sun, going to the movies, playing pool, ping pong, basketball, bike rides and so on. I really love TJ's family. We may have taken them a stomach bug but hopefully they still like us. Chelsea recently started an Etsy store and is selling custom leather stamped pacifier clips and braided leather and pearl ones. On Saturday she had a booth at the Phx Fleamarket and we all went to see and support her which was fun cause it was only the girls and we bought some cute crap. For her first one she made $500. Back in the day I wanted to sell my dads jewelry but the only way to do that was to have jewelry parties that everyone and their mother did which took so much time and effort. So I never did. Well now there Etsy and Ebay and Facebook and Instagram to get your stuff and name out there. It got Tjs and I's wheels turning because I can buy from my dad wholesale and then sell it. TJs friends wife sells homemade camera bags on etsy and makes about $2000 a month. But I wouldn't even have to invest time in it. The jewelry is already made. Really its just crazy that I haven't jumped on this band wagon because I'm in the perfect spot to do it since selling wholesale is my dads whole business. We think we might start it after the new year. Since I'll be home for Christmas I can stock up on jewelry while I'm there. I only want to sell a few pieces that I think would do so well since there are not many places that make these. I want to focus on baby cuff bracelets with all the stones and maybe like a mom and me matching set. Also the custom CTR rings my dad makes and a few styles of little girl earrings and pendants. Who knows how it will go. There really is no risk involved if it does nothing. But even if I sold $200 a month that is $2400 a year and we thought this income could be specifically for our family vacations. I'm excited. I've got a phone call with the pops tonight.
