The kids really love playing phone scavenger hunts for FHE so I made up a Christmas one and we split into teams and each had a list of different Christmas symbols and traditions and things like that that we had to take pictures of and then compare who was most creative. We only have 10 min and TJ's team pretty much always wins. Here is a pic of Lexi and I showing something you love. And the kids hugging was a picture of a gift you can't wrap I think. Its always a fun easy go to game.
The kids have been taking baths in my big tub lately and love to practice holding their breath.
Kasen just wants to be like the rest of the girls and wear an apron when we bake. He just cried and cried for me to put one on him. I should probably make him a Superman one minus the ruffles.
There is nothing like a Home Depot trip in the limo sized car cart and popcorn.
This year for Christmas TJ's parents are giving us like THE BEST gift ever! While we are gone in Albuquerque they are having our basement bathroom finished!!! I'm so stoked I can't even stand it. After 8 years our basement will finally be complete! I can't wait for the girls to have their own bathroom downstairs and for me to go shopping to put it all together. Guess that means I also get to re do the upstairs bath and make it not so pink for the boy who will start to use it.
My kitchen table looks like it threw up legos. Legos kill me for more than one reason but really its the headache they give me for starring at those tiny pieces for so long. Lexi and I spent 2 straight hours building only to have Kasen tear it all down..
We took the kids to Riverwoods to see Santa. Tallie had nothing to say to the man and did not want her picture taken either. Its sad that she is growing up. She also will not let me kiss her or even highfive her when she gets out of the car for school (wipe away tear).
For my Christmas gift this year TJ took me to see The Piano Guys.
OH. MY. WORD!!!
Amazing!!! Times 10.
Music is such a powerful thing and is the best way to feel the Spirit. Its inspiring and motivating and I can't believe there are people out there with this much talent! My girls were so jealous they didn't get to go. They love watching their videos on YouTube.
It really was a magical night and I was reminded of the true meaning of the season, Jesus Christ.
Best Gift ever!
I will def be seeing them again!!
