It's COOOOOLD!!

It was so nice all of November and the first part of December. Like we were still going to the park and riding bikes outside. It was so nice.

And then overnight it got ridiculously cold and it is sticking around.

I'm glad for the snow. It makes it feel like Christmas time and makes everything beautiful. However, it is REALLY COLD. Most nights are 0 degrees and the highs for the days is like 12.

The kids still go outside and play though. And by the end of the day there are like a million hot chocolate mugs filling up the dishwasher (which is new by the way because Tj just couldn't stand the old one) (I told him if he bought it then he would have to help me tear down the backsplash in the kitchen, put up another one and then repaint, he agreed).

Running has not been an option since I hate to go any colder than 12 degrees. Which makes me sad and my pants sad as well.

Tj however went out last night for an 8 mile run at 10:30. It was 1 dgrees. He also saw Tessa out running too. So there are two crazy people.

I love watching all of the crazy kids walking to school in their basketball shorts everyday NO MATTER WHAT TEMPERATURE IT IS (and they do it because their dads are dumb too and wear shorts shoveling their driveways). I know they are cold, pretending they are not. It's funny to see them now wear extra long tube socks. They pull them up high, right to where their shorts hit.

It's like they are wearing pants only still cool because they are wearing "shorts".

I bet if one started to wear pants and felt how nice it was to be warm others would follow.

I blame dumb kids on dumb dads.
