I feel like one day it was fall and nice weather and then BAM winter hits! The cold weather just snuck up on us. But when we woke up to a foot and a half of snow the kids couldn't have been more excited. Right after breakfast the kids put on all of their snow gear...which takes entirely too long to do, and they went out and stayed out until they were tired and wet. We made hot chocolate with peppermint straws and it made me so happy that we were able to do something normal that brought smiles to everyones face considering the circumstances we have been in these last few weeks. And when I get a good amount of time I will write about the surprising birth of my baby boy that has kept us all so busy.
The huge hill next door on the empty lot sure has become the main attraction these days. When there is no snow it is the dirt bike track and now that its covered in snow it is the sledding hill. It sure keeps the kids busy and happy.
