Elena asked Tallie to her birthday at Lagoon again this year and they asked me to come along to help out. It was fun to go with Tallie and be with her all day. I could tell she was nervous to go because she is not a huge fan of the really big roller coasters but doesn't want to be the baby and not go on them. Plus I wanted to go because I knew that Elena and Caitlyn would pair off and totally leave Tallie out. Which happened on a few occassions. Which led us to have a good talk about peer pressure and not letting people, even our friends, make us feel stupid for not doing things we really just don't want to do. I am so glad I was there because I'm not sure what would have happened had I not been and I'm sure Tallie would have come home not having a good time. I wish I could say that Michelle was aware and tried to make sure everyone was having a good time but she was oblivious to any feelings being hurt. It was so nice of them to pay for our tickets to get in and for all of the food and money spent on playing games as well. It was a pretty lavish party. We started out doing the water slides and then went to the rides. It was a fun loooong day and we didn't get home until 12:30am and I was exhausted. I'm hoping next year there will be different plans for Elena's party. I'm not so sure I want to sent Tallie again next year. For muliple reasons.
I really hope she had fun.
