DePriest San Clemente Reunion!

This reunion was SO MUCH FUN! My family, the beach and camping!! What more could you ask for? All of my favorite things! We took two days to drive there and stayed in Vegas for a night. That was so fun all in its self. We got there late afternoon, went out to eat and then played in the hotel pool all night. It was so hot there! My whole family met at the camp grounds later the next day. We all set up camp and then went into town for IN and OUT for dinner..at like 10pm. The older girls slept in their own little tent which we will ALWAYS do from now on. We hit up the grocery store to buy food for breakfast and lunches. Everyday we went to the beach and played all day! Of course like once in 30 years (thats a fact) the crabs from Mexico all migrate and cover all of Californias beaches. We were there on that one day! Thankfully it cleared up after a couple days. There were literally thousands of tiny crabs all over the beach. And if you watched the surf come in the waves were RED because thats how many crabs were being washed up. If you were brave enough to wade through them to get to deeper water where they were more spread out it was ok. Each night we went to Pedros Tacos and ate the BEST food and then we would walk around the little surf town and shop. A couple of nights we would get our food to go and take it down to the pier for a picnic to watch the sunset. Then we would walk the pier and hang out until super late and kids were basically falling asleep everywhere. I love my family and it was a blast to be with them. Savanna brought her boyfriend Chandler and he was obsessed with Kasen. I mention him because I'm sure he will become part of the family. I really like him. The kids were brave and loved boogie boarding and diving into the waves. I loved being white trash and mattress surfing and getting wrecked in the waves. Kasen kept saying he loved the big sand box and the big pool. I could live at the beach. I want so bad for this to become a regular thing. Camping at the beach is the bomb and so cheap! It was great to hang out with my brother and laugh with him. Oddly we never had a camp fire the whole week so him and I would sit by the pretend fire and invite all to come get warm.
