I swear I never want Lexi to grow up. She has such a sweet innocence that just warms my heart. Her favorite thing to do is to play games with me. She would play one right after the other pretty much all day. She also loves to build forts. She loves to pack all her little stuffed animals in them and tuck them in and bring in snacks and books and her flashlight. It's her own little quiet space and she loves for us to hang out in there while the kids are at school. Only problem is is that they are so dark and I have to lie down to fit in them and so it makes a perfect nap spot, only there is no napping in Lexi's forts. Once the kids do get home they like to pile in and tell silly ghost stories.

Finally finally after like 2 months of NO backsplash on the wall and torn up drywall, we finally just decide on one and spend the day putting it up. Now I wonder just how long it will take us to finish the job and actually grout it...Reams had their big strawberry flat sale and so of course I had to grab a couple. The girls all helped with cutting up the strawberries and then smashing them and then adding the sugar, lemon juice and ultra gel. They were pretty good helpers and now I have a freezer full of delicious jam!
So the weather has been awesome, in the 70's, and so I thought it was time to uncover the patio stuff. I always like to have it out in time for Easter. Well I learned my lesson and should have taken the cushions inside for the winter instead of leaving them under the cover because apparently RATS AND MICE need a nice warm cozy bed for the winter. And they made a good one right in my cushions. Man I was upset I just started chucking pillows and cushions all over the yard. Well its all put back together and the torn parts are facing into the couch so it still looks nice and sitable but one day I will have to bite the bullet and get new cushions.
