For our date Chloe said she wanted to go to the Halloween store to pick out her costume. We left the store with nothing because she couldn't decide what she wanted to be. So since the Sweet Tooth Fairy was next door we had to stop for a treat. She wanted to eat her cupcake in the van because there were people in the store. So we did. After she said she wanted to go to Walmart...to buy a toy. I told her that a date was not really to buy toys (the costume was an exception because I'm going to get her one anyways). I said dates are for spending time together and having fun. But our time was limited so we settled on buying a game that we could play together. We couldn't find one we liked. At this point I'm feeling bad that our date seems so lame. Then we passed by the fabric isle and saw this cute Hello Kitty Fleece on clearance. I told her we could get it and I could teach her and help her make her very own "tie" blanket.
Chloe loves anything soft and fuzzy.
We came home and I showed her how and where to cut and then how to tie the edges.
We work on it a little bit everyday together and she loves it and its been really fun spending this time with her.
Suddenly our date turned out really cool.
