Chloe: "Mom, were you nice when I was a baby?"

Me: "Yes, do you think I'm not nice now?"

Chloe: "No, you yell at me."

Sometimes kids just give it to you straight. And sometimes it really hurts. I obviously need to tone down my voice and start being nice.
