We spent a lot of time this summer out on the water. The test was always just how much I could pack into the van.
But the biggest surprise of all was when we brought home a puppy for the kids! I know right?! I am so not a dog person or really an animal person but I knew that one day it would have to happen and I for sure thought never in our current house because we have no fence. Well we did it and I can honestly say that I don't regret it and there have really only been like 2 times that I have questioned getting her. She is a great dog and the kids love her and I love seeing them with her and having the responsibility of having her. It has helped having a dog trainer come over a couple times to teach me how to teach Roxy and I actually really like having her around.
AND she is inside a lot and that is CRAZY that I have an indoor GOLDEN RETRIEVER!! We bought her from a sweet family out in Orangeville. ITs a couple hours away so one afternoon we got a sitter and drove out there and then brought this little furball home. She was the one out of like 8 other dogs that got up on my lap and calmed down and just snuggled. I was sold. She was the one we wanted and she still is that great snuggler.
