I'm so glad that the weather is warming up again. This weekend its supposed to hit 81! Now that is what I call a good birthday present. 

Kasen has been such a big kid lately, wanting to do what the big kids do. Sometimes I forget that he is capable of doing so much more just because he is the baby of 4 and so its hard not to treat him like the baby because he is. He is such a cuddler and is always coming to give me hugs and just lay with me. Today he came and sat by me on the couch and pulled Chloe's blanket up over him and I and just laid on me. I often find him taking my shirts or the girls shirt or their blankets and balling them up in his arms and just hugging them and trying to wrap himself in them. I also found him on the couch today curled up in Chloe's blanket. So cute.

Since TJ is out of town I haven't been able to go running in the mornings so tonight I had a young woman come over after I put the kids to bed so I could go on a run. I had such a good run! It got dark faster than I thought and so maybe I was running faster because I was paranoid about running in the dark I don't know but I ran 5 miles all under an 8:30 pace. 

I love running. I love the challenge of it. I love pushing myself and seeing improvement. I have friends who love running and the whole social part of it and just keeping it casual which is fun and I love that too but I also love to challenge myself and try to run faster. I just wish that I would have started running a long time ago when I had all the time in the world.
