When we got home from Arizona (which I still have to write about), this is what was waiting for us in the strawberry patch! I seriously never thought I would ever pick more than a couple strawberries per week. That's what it has been like the last 2 years. Well the waiting has paid off and I LOVE that we can pick and pick and pick everyday!!! Makes me so happy!
Tallie and her friend Elena Wakefield have decided to run the Freedom Fun Run which only one mile and is held on the 4th of July. She is soooo excited! They have been practicing running around the block, 3 and a half times equals 1 mile. Sometimes Tallie even runs 1 mile in the morning and then another that night. All she talks about is getting her medal and wearing her running shirt that Sophie passed down to her. She told me the other day I need to make a sign for her as she crosses the finish line. I had to take her to get some actual shoes she could run in. Slip on sketchers don't really cut it. She borrowed my watch and this is her first mile where she said she didn't stop at all to walk. Not too shabby if I do say so myself. Pretty proud of her for wanting to do this and sticking to it.
