On Saturday we went up to the Monas to celebrate her 66th birthday!
It was a really fun party and a ton of fun to hang out with everyone.
Chelsea brought her new Fiance (who I met that night for the first time) and I LOVE HIM.
He is perfect for our family and perfect for Chels.
They came over the other night to play with the girls and Thomas had the girls just lovin' on him.
Since then the girls keep saying "I wish Thomas was here" and Tallie said "I want to marry Thomas" .

I had a melt down today. It's really hard living in Utah. Sometimes I feel like I never measure up to all of the other perfect mormon family all around me. Sometimes I feel like I'm lost in the middle of all of the "cookie cutter" moms. It's crazy the amount of extra stuff parents put their kids into. Dance, gymnastics, soccer, reading classes, art classes, cheer clinics, music classes, piano classes, multiple years of preschool and so on and so on. All of this starting before the age of 5!!! What happened to just play time? And the moms they cook, sew, run, read, knit, craft, blog, exercise, have girls nights once a week, make spectacular birthday cakes, have outrageous parties, over the top FHEs, teach their 3 year olds to read, blah blah blah. Needless to say its hard to stick to what I believe and create the life I want for my kids and not the life I see everyone else making for their kids. I just want them happy, well rounded and well loved by me.
